Dr. Sumaya Al Araimi

Dr. Sumaya Al Araimi is a highly respected Senior Consultant in Pediatric Pulmonology, Respiratory Allergy, and Rare Lung Diseases, with extensive experience in diagnosing and treating a wide range of respiratory conditions in infants, children, and adolescents. She previously served as the Head of the Pediatric Respiratory Department at Royal Hospital, Oman, where she played a key role in advancing specialized pediatric respiratory care. With a strong background in General Pediatrics, Dr. Al Araimi provides comprehensive care for children while offering advanced expertise in childhood asthma, recurrent wheezing, chronic cough, respiratory allergies, recurrent chest infections, sleep-related breathing disorders, and rare lung diseases. She is highly skilled in diagnostic bronchoscopy and allergy skin testing, enabling accurate diagnosis and personalized treatment plans for pediatric respiratory and allergic conditions. Al Araimi has a particular passion for Cystic Fibrosis (CF) and is widely recognized for her contributions to the management and research of cystic fibrosis in Oman. She used to be in board member (scientific, research, examination committees)in paediatric OMSB in Oman.
