This is the consent you review and accept before an online consultation. We record your acceptance with the time and the exact version of this document, so there is a clear record of what you agreed to.

What an online consultation is
- An online consultation is a video or audio visit with a licensed doctor. It suits many concerns, but not all.
- The doctor may decide that your concern needs an in-person visit or a test, and may ask you to attend in person.
- An online consultation is not for emergencies. For a medical emergency in Oman, call 9999 or go to the nearest emergency department.
Your privacy
The consultation is not recorded. The connection is encrypted. What the doctor writes is visible to the treating doctor and to you only. The service is built to store health data on servers inside the Gulf, and the live video and audio are never stored.

Your rights
- You can ask questions before, during, and after the consultation.
- You can stop the consultation at any time.
- You receive a summary of the visit, and you can raise a concern about your care.
Who is present
Before you join, you tell us who is with you, such as a family member, a carer, or an interpreter. You are told who is present on the doctor's side. No one else joins without being disclosed to you.

This document is published in Arabic and English. If the two versions ever differ, the Arabic version is the one that applies.
